dotLib Creative Technology Hub

dotLib is a hub for Creative Technology, particularly focused on its use within interactive installation art, education and assistive technology. We aim to create exciting projects, share useful information and help others realise their own projects. 

dotLib was founded and is directed by creative technologist, Luke Woodbury, in Somerset, UK. 

We can offer help in the form of consultation or actual production of creative technology on a variety of projects. We can build digital media software, hardware or systems that link the physical and the digital world. We have a speciality in working with other arts based practitioners who have a tech requirement, young people and those with alternative needs. We offer workshops about coding, electronics and technology and are willing to contribute to community based projects when we can. Who are we?

Luke Woodbury

Luke Woodbury studied Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa university before becoming interested in physical computing and installation art. While developing skills in this area  Luke began working at a special needs school (Three Ways in Bath) where he found his expertise was particularly suited to creating immersive, multi sensory, educational and therapeutic resources and assistive technology. Luke has a wide range of skills with digital media, lighting, electronics and programming and has worked on numerous arts, research, assistive and educational projects involving creative technology. Luke is particularly fond of Arduino, Max MSP, making his own electronics and that place where the digital and the physical world meet.
